Reliability
Reliability requires a high degree of know-how. This includes qualified staff, technically mature machines and equipment, and primary material from well-known suppliers in Europe as well as the Far East.
For NB Norder Bandstahl it has become increasingly important over the last years to acquire the raw material from different suppliers.
Because of the scarcity of resources – especially nickel -, as a result of the general growth in the stainless steel industry, more international sources had to be secured as well. Whereas a few years ago mainly suppliers from European countries were chosen, today the stainless steel import from Asia plays a major role in the European market. We as well cannot elude globalisation and thus admitted a small number of suppliers from the Far East to deliver.
Quality and reliability of the company are enhanced through the assignment of specialised staff. The Glave Group puts an emphasis on training and further education. Thus, already since their apprenticeship, members of staff are familiar with the internal processes of our stainless steel service centre. In addition to their own training the personnel is getting trained through in-house seminars.
Quality discussions with the teams working on the machines raise their awareness for our customer’s requirements.
These and many other measures contribute to the reliability of the company and guarantee a very high standard of quality and safety.
